Quantplay provides a detailed evaluation of your backtested strategy's performance. It displays key metrics and visual insights, such as the equity curve, allowing you to understand the strategy's effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.

View Performance Metrics ​

  • Total Profit/Loss: The overall profit or loss from the backtest.
  • Win/Loss Ratio: The percentage of winning trades versus losing trades.
  • Maximum Drawdown: The largest drop from peak to trough in the equity curve.
  • Total Profit/Loss: The overall profit or loss from the backtest.

Equity Curve ​

  • Visualize the equity curve of the strategy, which shows the changes in the account balance over the backtest duration. This helps identify trends and periods of high volatility or strong performance.

Analyze Results by Weekday/Days to Expiry ​

  • Weekday Analysis: See how the strategy performs on different days of the week.
  • Days to Expiry: Evaluate the strategy's results based on the number of days remaining to options expiry.

View All Trades ​

  • Review a detailed list of all trades executed during the backtest. This includes entry and exit points, trade duration, and individual trade PnL.
