Leg Level Risk Management ​

The Leg Level Risk Management (RMS) feature in Quantplay allows you to set specific risk management parameters for individual legs of your trading strategy. This granular approach helps you control risk for each component of your strategy, ensuring more precise management and better protection against adverse market movements.

How to Set Up Leg Level RMS ​

While configuring a strategy, within the box that defines each leg, click on the “S/T” icon next to Lot Size to access the Leg Level RMS settings.

Configure Risk Parameters for Each Leg

  • Stop-Loss Level: Automatically exit the position if the price moves against you beyond a specified limit.
  • Target Level: Set a target level to automatically close the leg and secure profits once the target price is reached.
  • Trailing Stop: Enable a trailing stop to dynamically adjust the stop-loss level as the trade moves in your favor.
